Thought I might be able to get some opinions here about the best virtual
machine options with 7.1, since I am hoping to move to a Linux-only
(basically) machine where I can run the VM to access Windows applications
that I am still forced to use to do work. I've been trying to read up on
it a bit and near as I can tell, the best options are Win4Lin and of
course VMware. Are these basically the "same" products? Both sites claim
7.1 compatibility, but has anybody that has tried both noticed one being
"better" than the other? Several versions ago I used a trial version of
VMware and was very happy with it. Unfortunately, I don't see any options
to use a trial version of Win4Lin, though (unless I overlooked it).
