Ahhh...  and it was a good point too.  and worked as a temp workaround.  I
was just throwing some extra info into that (recompile the kernel)

you are correct.  I had a 2.2 ooops... hehehe...

the correct lines are:

CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G= (y or n) to set to use up to 4 gigs ram
CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G= (y or n) to set to use up to 64 Gigs ram.

I got into the lazy habit of using make xconfig, so now its just point
click and compile... heheh
