I finally took the plunge and upgraded my last RH 7.0 machine to 7.1 a
week or so ago, and all is good, except for transfers of DNS zones for
which this machine is a slave.

There are three domains that this machine is a slave server for, and all
three are giving me entries like this in the logs:

Sep 16 00:40:09.720 refresh_callback: zone domain.com/IN:
non-authoritative answer from 111.222.333.444#53

Where 111.222.333.444 is the master listed in the named.conf file. These
transfers worked fine in BIND 8, it was only after upgrading to BIND 9
that they broke.

The strange thing is that I've got another RH 7.1 machine on a different
network that's also a slave for one of these domains, which isn't having
any problems at all doing the zone transfers.

Has anybody seen anything like this before, or have any ideas what could
be causing a problem like this?

I can make a copy of my named.conf available, upon request. Don't
particularly care to post it on a publicly archived list. :)

Thanks,
--Chris.
