As I'm in trouble with the connection, I have downloaded only the sources:
[neugens@nirvana new]$ rpm --rebuild gcc-2.96-93.src.rpm
Installing gcc-2.96-93.src.rpm
error: failed build dependencies:
binutils >= 2.11.90.0.8-3 is needed by gcc-2.96-93
I'll try with the 2.96-99, just to have the latest "less bugged" release (I
found it a good compiler for the use I have to do, anyway, I can compile
everything, never had an error)
Are the rawhide binutils a safe package too?
Thank you,
Mario
