Hello, I just built my first custom kernel under Red Hat 7.1, edited lilo.conf, and ran lilo. lilo gives me the error: Fatal: Kernel /boot/kernel is too big
The Image is bzipped and is only slightly larger that the kernel I'm currently running and smaller than the one I'm running under Debian on another similar machine. The old kernel is 2.4.2 and the new one is 2.4.10. My machine is a PIII 550 with 196 megs of ram. The version of lilo is 21.4-4 Any hints as to what's gone wrong and what I have to do to fix it?
