Hi,
I've had these sort of errors on two computers.
In both cases the computers where working fine for about 1 year
then started getting these errors.
The first one I replaced the hard drive (though that may have been
unnecessary) and the errors went away.
The second one, the errors just stopped happening and it is still OK.
I would hazard a guess that the problem was the IDE cable in the
first case but in the second case it may have just been overheating?
(I have 6 computers & a UPS under a desk in a small room at home -
in summer they get very hot - the other computers, hubs, printers &
scanner in the room also don't help with the temperature :-)
