I'm not sure why you are getting this error message.  Are you logged
in as root when you try to "startx"?  It would appear so from the
error message.  If so, try starting X as a normal user and see what
happens.  You should be able to start X as root, although I never do
and would advise against it.  Remember: never do anything as root
unless it is absolutely necessary.

This is the error message you get when you try to run adduser but are
not root.  You must be root to add a user.

No, I logon as a root user. I'm not sure it's some body change some file permissions?
