I'm not sure what a speadsteam 5800 is.  Is it the adsl interface or
something inboard from there?  

I use a NETGEAR FR-314 Router/firewall.   like thie:

                   ROUTER (gateway) NETGEAR FR314
                     |
   ---------------------------------

  m1     m2     m3       m4       m5 


That router (and many others) allow NATing to any internal address 
and can be setup in a fairly  easily understood interface conducted
over a web browser connection to NETGEAR FR-314

The Netgear product allows up to 8 machines to be NATed thru one IP
