Yes, if you select Upgrade then you can select "Upgrade boot loader 
config" and it detects whatever you currently have GRUB/LILO and continues 
using that scheme.

It will IIRC save the lilo.conf as lilo.conf.anaconda.  GRUB will replace 
it completely.  I don't know the details of your dual-boot system and 
you'll need to be aware of whether you have lilo installed in the MBR or 
first-partition.  Similarly you should make a note about which 
drive/partitions your OSes are on.  There's a pretty clear installation 
screen that gives you all these options when you do the upgrade.

Well, if you have the data saved, then .... yeah, why not?  Do you mean 
that you're worried about the data on the other OS?  

FWIW I really reccomend using GRUB as opposed to LILO.  It's much more 
powerful and easy to use.
