And, while I remember it:  you can choose to do the above and then if you 
want to install GRUB by hand later you can do that using the grub-install 
command.  RedHat's official documention says that retaining LILO as the 
bootloader and upgrading it is the recommended option.

You'll also have to consider switching from ext2 filesystem to ext3 if 
you're upgrading 7.1 to 7.3  (It's great!)
