as u said it might be true in earlier versions that it looks for mouse. but in my system when i start booting from cd as linux rescue . it is showing frame buffers ....... i think its checking for graphics card. but during installation the graphics card was detected and installed as sis 5598, its correct.
i dont know how to capture the boot process in a file can u suugest me ho it can be captured. so that i can provide it for futher reference to this problem. thanks aak --- "Steven J.
