hey "du" is nice
but you need "df"
I used to use du but it then I got hooked onto df, and I put it to run
whenever I log in, it gives a simple easy to understand output just by
itself and no options, but you can always refine it

Subject: Directory size?

Is there a way to find out how much disk space is being used by a
directory, including the subdirectories it contains?

I've been through the ls man page, but it doesn't mention anything.
I'd rather not script it if there is a nice little utility or switch
that I don't know about.

Thanx!

Michael
