Hi All, I have a GVC 33.6 KBps modem installed on my RH Linux 7.1. The modem was perfectly recognised during installation time. However now, when i am trying to connect to the internet, I am getting a dial tone not found error. It seems that the modem is waiting for the dial tone before dialling the number, and somehow it cannot understand the dial tone. So is there any way to get this thing to work? Maybe if i could disable this waiting for dialtone feature....like we have it in windows?
