If you never got anywhere with this: James P. Roberts wrote:
Thanks. I suppose that would work if my basic RHN subscription for RHL-7.1 included access to RHL-7.2 and up packages; but, it appears that it does not. I seem to recall another path to download RPMs, it's just a LOT slower when not logging in through RH Network.
A good mirror here ftp://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/redhat/linux/7.3/en/os/i386/SRPMS/
Get at least these: XFree86-4.2.0-8.src.rpm Xconfigurator-4.10.7-1.src.rpm XFree86-compat-libs-4.0.3-2.src.rpm Then build with 'rpm --rebuild' I would build the first 2 then install the ones they create. Then Get the compat-libs built. You might need to use --nodeps on some of them.
"That old version..." ROTFL. I spend $180 to get the latest and greatest Server Edition, barely a year ago. And now that 8.0 is out, I'm already 3 full versions behind!
Thes "Server" version are different. I though you ment plain old RHL-7.1. -Thomas _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
