There is really a lot of solutions to connect sendmail (and many other MTA-s) with antivirus software, you should go to google and type keyword like "free sendmail antivirus" or something like that... I'm not satisfied too much with mailsweeper - already it reported tens of false alarms, sometimes without sender's name in the alarm, and recently we've lost a lot of e-mail messages while something went wrong with it. However, I can't blame antivirus for that, for it might as well be the admins and their lack of knowledge.
