I used Interscan 3 (build 1103, I think) before. It turned our Linux mail
servers into an open relay. Even though their product has an anti-relay
feature.

Trend Australia's suggestion was to use a "sendmail sandwich", and
acknowledged that the feature did not work properly. Their documentation on
creating this sandwich worked perfectly. The configuration worked properly
for a couple days, and then went psycho and delivered 1 out of 3 emails.
Restarting all the sendmails and interscan didn't fix the problem either.
We reverted back to our normal sendmail config and the mail started to flow
once more.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,
Steve

Windows 2000 becomes an unsupported product in March 31st, 2003. That is
when you start to pay Microsoft to support and fix the bugs and problems in

Subject: Trend Micro Interscan 3

        Hi everybody,

I'd like to install a software for anti-spamming and mail virus check.
Someone told me to put Trend Micro Interscan 3. I've got Nestcape 3.51 as a
mails server.
I'd like to know if this software is "vulnerability free" (I doubt), there
good point and weak points.

        Thanxs for future answers

PS: sorry for my frenchee english ;o)
