The original poster didn't really ask this, but in fact, you can export from IIS4 and import into IIS5. This process is described at Thawte here: http://www.thawte.com/support/server/msiis5.html#move As far as the original question is concerned, you can use the same cert on multiple webservers. The cert is defined by domainname, ie secure.yoursite.com, as long as it's used on the same domain on both servers, you're all set.
