Trillian will also let you run encrypted connections to other trillian
users using the existing networks (like ICQ).

you may get some luck by asking the folks who make Trillian
(www.trillian.cc), perhaps on their forum. They made an AIM, ICQ, Y!,
MSN, and IRC client all in one and I've not tested the MSN exploits, but
none of the Y! exploits work on Trillian. It's a free program and the
developers are easy to contact directly. -Russell

Subject: msn messenger protocol

Hey there,
Msn messinger is one of todays most widely used instant messengers. I
run an internal network and we are very security concious. I am
constantly aware of bugs in msn messenger, some of which are being
exploited. I was wondering if anyone could refer me to any texts; or
websites which would allow me to learn the protocol the latest version
is running on in order for me to make a version for my company.

Thanks in advance.
