on the topic of ssh tunnelling....

my friend has an analogue leased line (probably outdated overseas, but
this is south afirca so <dot dot dot>).

the connection isn't _that_ fast as you can imagine if compared to diginet
lines, but someone told me running a end to end ssh tunnel would speed
things up (i think with the ssh compression on top of the ppp
compression).

can anyone validate this?

or any other recommendations? i think i might have been told about
something called XTM? not sure if it is the correct name, as i got told
about it 2 weeks ago, and can't remember if it definitely called that.

thanks,

stephen

Evaluating SSL VPNs' Consider NEOTERIS, chosen as leader by top analysts!
The Gartner Group just put Neoteris in the top of its Magic Quadrant,
while InStat has confirmed Neoteris as the leader in marketshare.

Find out why, and see how you can get plug-n-play secure remote access in
about an hour, with no client, server changes, or ongoing maintenance.
