you didn't install a Community then, like I did ... don't you think it's weird that it segfaults for you and works for me when we both use a Community ? :o)

Maybe you have installed something else ... I don't know ...
you could check out the bash script and the strace the exact sarg command .. and send me the output.
example:
see the /etc/cron.daily/0sarg script, the in a terminal:
type export TODAY (the 0sarg line), export YESTERDAY (the 0sarg line) create the directory (mkdir -p line) and then strace -o file.tx (/usr/sbin/sarg -f ... the 0sarg line)
send me the output of the file.txt file
