Florin posted a new 1.10 version of the "pre-pre-pre-Alpha" version of MNF2 about two weeks ago:

That was all very quietly done!
The one package that I'm running differently than what's in the latest MNF is sarg. I'm running 1.4.1-3mdk from 10.1. It behaves better than in the first iso IMHO.
I'm really looking forward to MNF2, as it has the best shorewall configuration interface for non-techies I've ever seen, perfect for branch offices and other areas where you're worried about long-term supportability as employees (and therefore expertise) come and go. Plus since it is built on Mandrake 10, I can add as many side packages as I want (such as Quagga, routing software disturbingly similar to Cisco IOS).I agree on the shorewall configuration. It's by far the easiest way to go about it and it has enough flexibility where I don't have to go to the command line to edit it.
I think the weakest point in the web GUI is in the servies configuration. I still have to edit files by hand to do some of the things I want to do.
I'd still like to see a read only login so non techinical people can look at the web logs, etc...
