Hello,

Well, I'm sorry, may be I don't explain well enough...
Ok for port 8443 for gui interface of config firewall
> > By default a normal apache webserver is started.
> not true : only the 8443 port and 127.0.0.1:8444 ports are open ...

Exactly,... if we want to have access on port 80 http we need to add a
rule... opening port 80 ... It's what I do ... and it's all ok for that...
By default a web server "apache" (port 80) is also installed ...
My problem is not a firewall rule problem...

doing http://firewall_ip we have the default apache page server ...
and I want to use it !!! it's simply ....

This page is the same you have in your server address
http://people.mandrakesoft.com/
And your "config" (first line) is :

This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.47 (Mandrake
Linux/1.6.91mdk) PHP/4.3.1!

but the problem is that it seems to have ... 2 accesses ...
one index.html page when we are inside of firewall .. and another one
index.html when becoming from outside the firewall...

I modify the index.shtml page in /var/www/html/index-default.shtml
Adding just only my name...
When accessing from inside the firewall, (http://local_ip) my name appears
on screen... it's ok,... it's what I want...
And this is the "config" (first line)... :

"This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.48
Mandrake Linux/6.7.100mdk) mod_auth_external/2.2.7 mod_ssl/2.0.48
OpenSSL/0.9.7c PHP/4.3.4! "

But when accessing from outside the firewall,.. (http://domain_name or
http://internet_ip ) my name don't appears on screen... and it's not the
same "config" :

"This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.44
Mandrake Linux/11mdk)! " !!!

This is that I don't understand,... why in this case my name don't appears
... you will tell me... because is not the same index.html or index.shtml or
index.??? ... yes,... ok,... that's I suppose... and then... where is this
new index.???

And my question is why are running (powered ! ) by default 2 differents
"config" of apache (2.0.48 and 2.0.44) with 2 differents ... mandrake ..
(Mandrake Linux/6.7.100mdk and Mandrake Linux/11mdk ) !!

I hope I have been clear enough... sorry if not... :(

Xavier
