Well, ... if you read exactly what I wrote... is exactly what I was saying !!! to have a port 80 open, we need to add a rule.... and that means by default is not open... I know my english is not good,... but I think that this part was clearly explained... :) > > My problem is not a firewall rule problem... > > doing http://firewall_ip we have the default apache page server ... > you shouldn't have that ... I don't have it here have you open the port 80 from lan 2 firewall ?? :) > well .. you're NOT supposed that on MNF ... if you modify that by hand ... > this is your choice .. Well, ok, I'm not supposed to have a web server on mnf... (I'm just doing some tests and learning ... I'm "newbie" on linux ! ) ok, but..., I'm sorry to insist, a server web is installed BY DEFAULT on mnf2 !!! (I'm not able to install a web server alone !!! and even less to do it by hand !!!) Adding a rule opening the port 80 from wan to firewall ... and you have the apache page on internet !! and opening the port 80 from lan 2 firewall... you have the same on lan !! > > "This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.47 (Mandrake > > Linux/1.6.91mdk) PHP/4.3.1!" > > > "This site is powered by: Apache-AdvancedExtranetServer/2.0.48 > > Mandrake Linux/6.7.100mdk) mod_auth_external/2.2.7 mod_ssl/2.0.48 > > OpenSSL/0.9.7c PHP/4.3.4! " > all the Mandrake apache servers have that line .. Yes, ok, ... but if you take some seconds to read the line completely,... you will see that the version is not the same.... :) Thanks in advance... Xavier
