My plan is to use it to even out the load on one of our wireless ISP subnets but the traffic coming in across the wireless bridges doesn't appear to be routed properly. I can manually proxy but the transparent proxy traffic is apparently dropped. Apparently because I can not find any logs showing an error or dropped traffic. These clients are using the same ip subnet that my local computers are using and connected to the MNF thru the same hub. The local computers on the same IP subnet utilize the transparent proxy just fine and can ping, telnet, ftp, ssh to the outside world while those coming in from the wireless bridge can't do anything without a manual proxy setting.
Any ideas on where to look for more information on what the problem might be? I had tested this setup with NAT turned on previously but its been removed. Could this be part of my problem and where could I look to find out? If my default policy is allow all to all, Can I delete all of the rules? or are some of them required for the transparent proxy to work?
Sincerely
