I have activated the DHCP server for my local test lan. I have specified a
primary and secondary DNS server on the server.
However, on one of my clients, a linux laptop, the DNS servers are not
being provided via Dhcp. The /etc/resolv.conf file on the client has not
nameserver entries after doing an ifdown eth1 and ifup eth1 again.
I have to enter them manually to get web browsing, etc. I think this needs
to be looked at.

did you specify these DNS entries in the dhcp setup page ? if yes, can you find them in /etc/dhcpd.conf ?

thx for testing,

Yes I did, but I cannot check now if they are in dhcpd.conf. Not at server location. I'll try and check tonight, if not, it will most likely be end of the week as I'm travelling. Dj.
