I have activated the DHCP server for my local test lan. I have specified a
primary and secondary DNS server on the server.
However, on one of my clients, a linux laptop, the DNS servers are not
being provided via Dhcp. The /etc/resolv.conf file on the client has not
nameserver entries after doing an ifdown eth1 and ifup eth1 again.
I have to enter them manually to get web browsing, etc. I think this needs
to be looked at.

did you specify these DNS entries in the dhcp setup page ? if yes, can you
find them in /etc/dhcpd.conf ?
