Thanks Florin, But I think that every time I go in to that part during the last bit of the install (I know where you're talking about) it forces me to pick one network card or the other. I can configure them both, but it still seems to only pick one.
I will, however, go back and look at it again to make sure I'm just not being completely stupid about it =) Thanks, Patrick -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Florin Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 10:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Security Firewall] MNF 2 Setup "Patrick McDonald" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Hello, > > I'm having a problem with MNF 2. However, at the end of the install you have a summary and there you can go to the network section and reconfigure the network and add/remove other devices ... Please keep in mind that only the network configuration during the install will be read by the web interface. The dsl setup has to be (re)done using the web interface ... > I will have to lug in the usb > network card, set it up, unplug it after the install, start the pc and > configure the on-board that it detects, reboot, plug the usb adapter back > in, configure it when it detects it, and what happens is that either it or I > get confused about which network card is what interface with what IP > address, and I end up just quitting in frustration. > > Any way to set up both network adapters in the install? > > TIA, > Patrick -- Florin http://www.mandrakesoft.com http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~florin/
