But I think that every time I go in to that part during the last bit of the
install (I know where you're talking about) it forces me to pick one network
card or the other.  I can configure them both, but it still seems to only
pick one.

I will, however, go back and look at it again to make sure I'm just not
being completely stupid about it =)

not true ... the install process will force you to setup at least one
network device so you can use the remote web interface after the boot.
However, at the end of the install you have a summary and there you can
go to the network section and reconfigure the network and add/remove other
devices ... 
Please keep in mind that only the network configuration during the install
will be read by the web interface. The dsl setup has to be (re)done using
the web interface ...
