The admin user cannot su. The only account the can su on my install was the
extra one I created during the install process. You have to click the su
access allowed (can't remember exactly what it was called) checkbox when
creating the user.
Does anyone know the commands to issue to create a similar user at the
console? This won't help you though Nicolas.
I think you may have to re-install and do the above.
I think this root access issue needs changing for the final release. Its
going to cause a lot of people a lot of heartache if left as is.

Cheers

I tryed the "su" command with the same result. I don't have the problem with
MNF1: loggin as admin then with "su" i can open my concole as root. But with
MNF2 when i try "su" the shell return a "wrong password" message. However,
in failsafe mode I can logging as admin then with "su" logging as root.
