This isn't an MNF2 issue, it's a MANDRAKE issue. Florin's last post on the subject was that it was not going to change because again, it's a Mandrake issue/feature.
Plain and simple, don't assign ANYTHING to the admin during the install. Ff you've already installed make admin a member of the wheel group.
