Todays offer:
Rosa Rugosa several packets of 25+ seeds in each.
Size:
6' tall by 6+' wide at maturity.
Uses:
Repeat blooming (white) landscape shrub. Also grown for fruiting bodies (hips)
Offer closes:
When I run out or 3-1-07 when I plant.
Wants:
Any mini rose seed. Any of the following: Bear oak, Osage orange, Sakalin
spruce seed.
Special handling:
Any rose is slower that heck to germinate needing 100+ days of cold moist (cold
stratification) storage, and may still take an entire summer to germinate. I
routinely let mine grow for an entire year after germination in their original
pan due to small seedling size. Overwintering in a cold frame will suffice for
cold treatment.
