With Windows you should have a program called Microsoft Character Map which
enables these characters to be produced either via the clipboard or by
holding down the ALT key and entering a sequence of numbers on the numeric
keyboard. You
must have NumLock activated. For example:
ALT+0227 produces  (accented a)
ALT+0234 produces  (accented e)
ALT+0182 produces  (paragraph mark)
(Note: On some mail clients these characters may not display correctly - I'm
using Outlook Express 5)
If you do not have the program installed, go to Windows Help and enter
Character Map for installation instructions. You can also find there
instructions how to use the program.
I hope this helps
