Shelby Aughtry 2008 SEISA Men's and Women's Singlehanded Championship September 27-28, 2008 Hosted by The Oklahoma City Boat Club and The University of Oklahoma Notice of Race 1. Rules The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2005-2008, the ICSA Procedural Rules Fall 2005-2008, the General Conditions for the ICSA North American Intercollegiate Sailing Championships, the Conditions of the North American Intercollegiate Men’s Singlehanded Championship, and the Conditions of the North American Intercollegiate Women’s Singlehanded Championship. 2. Location The regatta will be sailed out of the Oklahoma City Boat Club on the waters of Lake Hefner, Oklahoma City, OK located at Britton Road and Lake Hefner Parkway on the Northwest side of Oklahoma City. See okcboatclub.com for more information. 3. Boats The event is BYOB, Full rigs for men, radials for Women. There will be no rotation. Boats must be in compliance with Laser Class rules. 4. Eligibility All entrants must meet ICSA eligibility requirements. 5. Uniforms are required per ICSA PR 13(e) 6. Fees: continental breakfast $2.00, lunches $5.00 7. Schedule Saturday 9:00 a.m. – Registration and Breakfast 9:30 Skippers meeting 10:30 a.m. – Warning Signal for Race 1 Sunday (only if fewer than five races are completed Saturday) 9:30 a.m. – Warning signal No race to start after 1:00 p.m. Awards ceremony to follow immediately upon conclusion of racing and de-rigging. 8. Registration RSVP to the regatta organizer no later than 1 week prior to the event. 9. Housing Housing requests should be included with the RSVP. Discounted hotels near the club may be found on the club website. 10. Sailing Instructions Sailing instructions will be available at registration. 11. Winners from each fleet advance to the ICSA Singlehanded Finals. The top two male skippers and the top female skipper will advance. 12.
