Since TCYC was the original venue are putting this together on very short
notice, I need as much heads up as possible. Also be aware that this is the
same weekend as the Oklahoma vs. Texas football weekend in Dallas, so
traffic will be a nightmare. Having sloops at Ft. Worth again was not an
option because this is the same weekend as their big fall regatta.

The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in:
1. The Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 (RRS),
2. The current ICSA Procedural Rules (PR) (www.collegesailing.org
)
All teams are required to wear uniforms as described in PR 13(e) for all
SEISA regattas.
PR 26 [Immediate Penalties for Breaking RRS 42] is not in effect.
The event will be held in either J-22's or IC -24's using spinnakers, a 4
person crew is required.
(If you don't know what an IC-24 is: www.ic24us.org basically it's a very
comfy J-24 with a blade jib)

Housing will not be provided.
Registration Meeting will be on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 8:30 am in the
RCYC club house.
Races will be run on lake Ray Hubbard
Directions can be found on the RCYC website
RCYC does reciprocate with most yacht clubs. There are not many places close
by to get lunch so plan ahead. The regatta organizers may try to provide
lunch but it is unsure at this point.
A damage deposit of $750 (check or cash) made out to RCYC is required with
registration. The boats are privately owned and you should expect to loose
your entire deposit should any damage occur. A protest hearing will be held
for all incidents that involve damage.
