To answer. Yes, subpages are enabled. To use the example from above (assume we are on the page wiki/explorers):
[[is author::John Smith]] would link to a form for creating wiki/ John_Smith [[is author::/John Smith]] links to a form creating wiki//John_Smith not wiki/explorers/John_Smith. I could get a similar effect by linking to Special:AddData/Form/ John_Smith. However, the same link will not be able to both add and edit. Thanks.
