Yes, certainly.

I installed gcc 3.2.3 on my computer and now SVDPack works great.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks a lot for the help.

Best,
Montse

Thanks Montse,

Ah, this is very interesting. We have not used gcc 4 with SVDPACKC,
and are currently using gcc 3.2.2 on Solaris and gcc 3.2.3 on Linux,
and have not had any problems. However, it sounds like we'll need
to take a look at gcc 4 to see what might be happening, if nothing
else to report the problem to the developers of SVDPACKC early on,
before there is a large migration to the newer gcc.

Keep us posted on how things work out for you - we're gload to know
you are interested in using SenseClusters.

Cordially,
Ted

Dear Ted,

I have 1 Gb of RAM memory, but yesterday lastly, I find out that
perhaps it is a problem with
my gcc version. I tried in another computer with 512GB of RAM and with
gcc version 3.0.1 and it
worked perfect.
I have gcc version 4.0.1 installed. So, I will try to install a previous
gcc version in the computer.

Thanks a lot,

Montse

Hi Montse,

Sorry to hear you are having these troubles. We use las2.h pretty
regularly with a wide range of values, and rarely have troubles.
But, we want it to work for you too. :)

Could you post the values you are using in las2.h when it works,
and then las2.h when it fails (the correct values).

Finally, how much RAM do you have on the machine you are running
this on?

Thanks!
Ted

Dear All,

I'm trying to install SenseClusters and everything is correct but I
have a problem with SVDPack,... Because it only works if I put a really
small parametres in las2.h... otherwise, if I put the correct values for
the matrix it gives me a Segmentation Fault...
I don't know which is the problem...

has anyone found that problem?

thanks in advance,

montse
