I heard about that motor and I agree about the engine, good platform, but the
ratios should be changed. They said they had to rev the thing really high to
maintain the power. You have to do this for the Prelude too. The power of
the cams doesn't kick in until about 5000 rpm, then it really hauls, but you
have to rev it to about 8000, the nshift and hold it down to keep the cams
up, or they switch back down. Maybe a controller could be purchased for the
Celica to control their cams and valve timing control. That VVTLi, thats a
crazy engine!
