Man, I was just driving a long. . my car was running great. . no problems. .
until i hear this horrible spine tingling sound coming from what seemed to be
under my car. .i thought i was dragging something but i looked and i wasn't.
.then I heard a clacking. . but it wasn't anything visible. .. So me and my
friend albert just looked for the sound but couldn't pin point anything. ..So
I got in my car adn we were goign to take it to his house which wasn't far
away. So, I put it in gear adn start rolling and the car starts making this
horrible scratching clacking sound. So i stop the car immediately and look
under the hood again. This time we fou nd the sound. . .it was in the
housing where my clutch and flywheel and stuff are. . . The only thing is,
the tranny is only a year old and the clutch is barely 5 months old. . so i
would have a hard tmie believing that it was either one of these things. .
especially since it was so sudden. . My bro was saying that it might be my
axels or something but i don't know, cuz it was making the sound when i
wasn't rolling. . . I was thinking that it might be the flywheel cuz it
really only makes the sound when i have the clutch out. .when I put the
clutch in, the sound somewhat disapears. Any info on this would be great. .
