I agree with Mr. Kenichi on this issue. Yeah, you can make a street car 
faster by removing a bunch of weight, but to remove enough to make a 
noticable difference on the street, you'll end up with a shell and an engine 
and not much else. I presume you have seen the inside of a street car that's 
been turned into a dragster? That's pretty much what your car will have to 
look like to make any real difference.
