Joe:
I've got a 97 GLE with a automatic transmission with the 1.6 engine and I'm
getting around 30 to 34 Miles Per Gallon, with a combination of city and
freeway driving, 5 to 6 days a week the car is driven from my home located in
the eastern county of San Diego Ca. in the Lugana Mountains from the 5000
foot mark down to sea level and then back up each night at mostly freeway
speeds, but going back up into the mountains really eats up the gas at a
driving speed of around 75 to 85 up hill. I generaly put 11 to 12.5 gallons
in the gas tank at each fill up and if I take my time and top off the gas
tank I can get a little over 13 gallons in it.
