That's true. The plate style injectors in every(? at least recent) Nissan
are not prone to clogging and cleaners aren't normally needed. They do work
though, but may corrode the injector (bad). The consensus on the SE-R list
was that there was an ingredient that caused the corrosion in nearly all
cleaner products.
The only one I know of that is 'safe' is Chevron Techron (the same stuff
they put in their gas).
