The monkeys at Radio Shack often know very little about electronics but I'm
sure they carry 12V flashing LEDs that you are looking for. They do make
LEDs that flash without the need for external circuitry to be built. I'd try
Radio Shack's website for more info or one of the more knowledgable
electronic parts shops around your town. Just take a quick look in the
yellow pages.
