I have had this problem since last year.

>I'd say your a/c system is either overfilled, or the compressor is dying -
ready to seize up at any time. Did the previous belt break? That may be a
clue. The compressor may even be seized already, in which case the pulley
is just slipping the compressor clutch. Have it checked out ASAP.

Don't believe that the system is overfilled. Compressor dying? It is a possibility.
The previous belt did not break. I just replaced it since it was cracked. If it is
the compressor, what damage to my pocket would it do?

>I had the same problem about a month ago! Turned out I just hadn't cleaned mt K&N in
>a LOOOOONG time! I thought those things were self
cleaning!?!?!?! LOL

BEN

Not likely. I just installed my HS CAI about two months ago.

>Well, usually an engine will drag or run a little
slower than normal when the A/C is turned on. If you
had to replace the belt(you said it had a brand new
belt) that could be that the A/C is locking up and the
clutch just slips when it's not on. However, I would
have it checked out as soon as possible by a
prroffesional. Or just by a new A/C..

Understand that the engine will drag a bit, but not to a point that it dies. I am
trying to figure this out with you guys together. Don't feel like paying $70 for a
diagnostic, yet.

Thanks for all the suggestion
