Personally I feel the same way. Whatever shop that deals caraudio, that I
have ever been into always said, alpine headunits, rockfordfosgate amps, and
mb quart speakers. This is what I have in mine. And my car is fricking loud.
I do have a cheap $40 mobile authority eq. The thing is, when you buy cheap
shit, like for example, I had a rockwood amp, fricking thing blew and took my
tweeters with it. (at first I thought it was the e.q.) Spend the money the
right way first. My mb quart component set was $150 and the rear 6x9's you
can get for $120, this along with a good headunit will sound good, hook up an
amp to all speakers, better, get some subs and another amp and now your
bumping. I am not saying the other companies suck, but face it, take a look
in the car audio catalogs, see who wins the awards and then make a
decision...Or get a job in circuit city or somewhere for a week, buy your
shit at a discount and quit>>>>>>LATER , TONY
