Here is my problem. My engine is squealing when my air conditioner is on.
First, if I start my car with the air on, my engine squeals. Second, if I
am cruising on the highway and THEN I turn my air on, my engine squeals.
Third, if I am cruising down the highway with my air on and I accelerate so
that my revs get pretty high, my engine squeals. I have a 93 XE, automatic
with no tach. I recently took my car to Newburgh Nissan (NY) and they
replaced all of my belts and hoses. My engine has NEVER made that noise.
Is it just trying to break in the belts or do I have a real problem.
Also, I am looking to replace the stock antenna on my car. I want
something short and sporty but it's going in the same place (not like the
Jetta antenna). I once saw a short, plastic or rubber antenna that seemed
to have another wire coiling around it all the way up. I was wondering if
anyone is familiar with it and is it any better than stock.
