I'm pretty much on par with Project Sweet 16 except I haven't gotten my
intake manifold honed yet. I also have a higher stall torque converter in my
tranmission as well. I can say that I honestly feel that my car could hang
with a 5spd. I autocross so having a automatic doesn't hurt me to much. But
you must remember that auto trannys lose more power thru the drivetrain than
manuals, meaning you have to work a little harder to get the car to go as
fast as a 5spd with the same mods.
