Hey I take offense to that! I don't consider myself a dickhead at all. I'm
fair and treat people with respect as long as respect is given. Get an
attitude and any officer will f*uck with you (me included). I just hate
when people put us all in the same category. We are just like you. We
just are
sworn to uphold the laws of the state/city. Plus the ones that hate us so
much are the ones who call us the fastest. And many people can't and would
not want to do our job. There are dickheads in any line of work. So please
don't think that we are the same. Thank you.
This is EXACTLY why people lump all cops into the dickhead category. "Get
an attitude and any officer will f*ck
with you (me included)" I don't remember it being against the law to get
an attitutude. What law of state and city are you upholding by f**king
with people that get an attitude? What exactly is the charge there? I
agree that being a police officer is a tough job, one that I would never
want. They have to deal with dangerous pople every day. I think that this
affects their mentality towards all people and they soon start to assume
that all people are bad. This is evident in the way they pull people over
just for the wheels they have, the fact that they have blue lights, or a
chrome exhaust, or tinted windows. If that person did not commit a crime or
violate ANY traffic laws, why mess with them? Why give someone a ticket
for going 3 miles past the speed limit? There are so many real problems
that cops could be dealing with, it seems so petty when they pick on kids
for what they do to their cars. Police officers provide a vital service to
every community. But people will be people and officers are not immune to
being a**holes. Just remember when someone breaks into your house, or
steals your precious Sentra, or is stalking you, or murders someone you
love...it is the cops that you are going to call. Whenever a cop gives me
grief I just give them the old "yes officer, no officer, thank you officer"
and they leave me alone. You wouldn't believe how different they treat you
when you just show a little respect.
