Chris,
What I meant was those people that get out of their cars and try to get into
a pissing contest with me. They never win. When I work accidents, I
understand that people are going to be upset but yelling a screaming about
it will not solve anything. What is done is done. I try to make sure that
the people are ok and have a ride coming or I will give them one. I'm in
this job to help people not to hurt them. I treat poeple like I want to be
treated. I very seldom have to raise my voice at people. I also give tons of
verbal and written warnings. This is how it works for me.....when I pull
someone over that committed a flagrant violation, I ask them if they know
why I stopped them. If they admit to what they did then I give them a
warning and send off. If they play stupid or lie then they get a ticket. I
don't argue with people on the street, I let a judge decide if I was right
or wrong. So far I have always been right. Again I write about 4-5 traffic
tickets a month. But I answer about 10-12 calls for service a day! But this
is just me. Not all officers treat people with respect but I can't speak for
them, I can only speak for myself.

Eric
