>Get an attitude and any officer will f*uck with you
Greaaaaaaaaaaat. So, when I was rear-ended a couple months ago, and I was
angry and shaken after seeing the damage to my car, the officer had every right
to say to me, "You had better calm down boy. Don't fuck with me, I'll take you to
jail". I guess he was protecting me and my rights there, right? He proceeded to
tell me that the person WHO HIT ME was upset, and that I would have to
APOLOGIZE TO HER because I had gotten out of my car, looked at my damage,
and was visibly angry.
Also, if someone working in an office has a bad day, they swear at their computer
or kick the copier. But if an officer has a bad day, he can pull over any poor soul
cause he feels like it, and he has the "authority" (which has happened to me, and
the officer told me so). Must be nice to be able to abuse that kind of power.
Please don't take this as a bash on ALL police, but why some people get these
kinds of attitudes. As a matter of fact, I was pulled over a few weeks ago, and the
officer was very polite, and the whole thing took about 3 minutes. he didn't mention
my tints, lights, or anything like that. Just, you were doing 77 in a 65, here's your
ticket.
I'd have to say it was one of my least anxious run-ins with an officer.
Thanks for listening,
