Even FRAM filters do have anti-drainback valves on them if you take a close
look. The issue is the quality of the anti-drainback valve. Chances are, if
you install a really cheap filter, all the oil will leak down over night.
It will take longer for the oil pressure to build once the engine has
started and more start-up wear will occur.
I noticed this first hand on my sister's Accord while I was doing the annual
tune-up. She had the oil changed at one of those generic lube shops and the
oil lamp would be on 2-3 seconds before it would go out. After I changed the
filter to a genuine Honda filter the lamp would go out immediately upon
start up.

If you want the absolute BEST filter go with the Purolator Pure ONE filter.
Silicone anti-drain back valve that holds the oil in much better, Teflon
impregnated O-ring seal and a very dense synthetic cloth-like filter media
as opposed to the paper they use in the FRAM. This is probably overkill but
I like to take care of my baby.
