Colleagues,

On behalf of the leadership of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, we want to
express our pleasure at the enthusiastic response to the new edition of the
guidelines. As SCCM and ESICM have pledged to re-invigorate the Campaign, we
will provide an updated data collection tool and resources on the redesigned
website to help you implement the new bundles and guidelines as part of the
Campaign in your hospital. The team is working to finalize the new materials
and confirm dates for web-based programs to help you introduce or refine your
Campaign activities. We anticipate you'll be able to download the new data
collection tool by early April barring no unforeseen barriers to development
and testing. A new screening tool and sample order sets and protocols will
also be provided. If your hospital team develops materials, we would welcome
the opportunity to share them on the website. Dates and times for a series of
free webinars sponsored by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation will be
announced. You may join live or, shortly after their presentation, access the
webcasts from the website to view at your convenience individually or in a team
setting. Please check the website frequently to see what's available at
www.survivingsepsis.org<http://www.survivingsepsis.org> As always, use this
listserv to engage with your colleagues and make suggestions to the Campaign.
We thank you for your engagement in our mutual efforts to improve outcomes for
patients and their families.

With best regards,
